Coastal Carpet & Tile fixes water damage, squeaks, cracked tile, scratched hardwood, peeling vinyl, and loose laminate planks across the Emerald Coast - usually within a week of your call, and usually for a fraction of what a full reinstall would cost.
We work on every material we sell: hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, sheet vinyl, laminate, and tile. If we can't repair it cleanly, we'll tell you and quote the smallest possible replacement zone.

Why plank-level repair beats a full reinstall
If a slow leak or storm-season water intrusion ruined a handful of boards near a window, you don't need to lose the whole floor. We can lift those boards individually, replace them with matching planks from your existing supply (or color-match new boards), feather the finish so the repair blends in, and you're back to a single, uniform floor by the end of the week. Compared to a full replacement, you save real money - and you keep a floor that's already broken in.
Subfloor and moisture diagnosis
When a floor fails, the cause is almost always underneath it - a slow plumbing leak, a settled joist, missing barrier against ground moisture. We diagnose the source first (moisture meter readings, joist inspection, leak path), fix the cause, then repair the surface. For anything more extensive, our floor demolition and prep team takes it from there.

Floor Repair - frequently asked questions
We schedule most floor-repair assessments within 2 to 4 business days of the call. Active water leaks and trip-hazard fixes are prioritized same-week.
On hardwood, vinyl plank, and laminate we replace board-for-board and feather the finish, so a properly executed repair is invisible from across the room. On tile, the result depends on whether matching tile is still available - we'll show you a sample before committing.
Most squeaks can be fixed from below if there's crawl-space access, by re-securing the subfloor to the joists. Squeaks in the middle of a sealed floor sometimes require lifting and re-screwing the affected planks.
Yes - claw scratches and sandy-shoe wear at doorways are a weekly job for us. Stains usually require board replacement; surface scratches are sanded smooth and color-matched in place.
